  We had a great vacation stay over MLK weekend 2023. Let me start with what we really liked: The location in Old Timberline is fantastic (but with snow and ice the driveway is not entirely for the faint of heart -- comes with being up the mountain). The house was clean, much bigger than it seemed from the outside, a fun layout and everything you would need to cook and for your stay! The heat worked great and the on-demand hot water heater meant everyone had hot showers! Two minor nitpicks: We could not for the life of us get the gas fireplace to work but one time - and the inability to just turn it on regardless of temperature setting was a real drag. Also -- While not technically included -- having some salt and a bin of ashes and sand would have gone a long way to help us settle in and feel well cared for.

  Our two families found the accommodations to be very nice, especially the Bed linens provided for the downstairs sleeping room. we did have a concern about the level of chlorine in the hot tub. We went in it and loved it, but after being in it for a few minutes, our eyes and throats were stinging. Also, weirdly, all of our jewelry it was tarnished maybe you could turn down the chemicals a bit.

  The house is beautiful, great views, very comfortable for a group of people, and great location. Comes with a fully stocked kitchen and lots of blankets and pillows and towels, which is great. Great access to Dolly Sods and all the surrounding fun places to go.

  We were a group of 10 and found Round to It to be even more spacious and accommodating then we expected. There were pull-out couches for those who didn't get a bed, and two of the couches were in a downstairs living room that still felt semi-private. We loved the hot tub and the circular living.

  We had a great experience. My grandkids went tubing . They really enjoyed it. The rental property had everything that we needed. It was a wonderful experience! Round To It , has breath taking views . The beds were great . Plenty of seating for everyone to be together. Tastefully decorated. I don’t have anything negative to so . We enjoyed our stay . The staff at Best of Cannan great and super accommodating to this old man . Hopefully we will be back next year.

  Comfortable and cozy cabin with a gorgeous view of the valley. Beds comfortable, kitchen extremely well appointed, and a great deck with a gas grill and a hot tub (perfect for apre-hikes!). The gas fireplace was wonderful - very realistic looking, and it automatically turns on and off to keep the room at the temp you choose. Loop driveway a bit steep to get out of, so recommend 4 wheel drive in the winter (or you can back out of the drive, which is less steep). Furniture was comfy upstairs and down, and the dining table is huge! Plenty of space to all sit down to eat AND have a 3’x4’ puzzle going.

  We had a great time staying at Round-To-It. As always, Best of Canaan made sure it was welcoming, clean, and comfortable. The house is a little older and does need some cosmetic interior repairs, but that did not take away anything from our stay here. The kitchen had everything we needed including a Keurig coffee maker. Above everything else, the views from the decks at Round_To-It were spectacular. I can only image what fall would look like from there. This was definitely a five star stay.

  The house is great, with amazing views on top of a mountain. The hot tub was lovely overlooking the valley. The house itself was clean and comfortable. The only few things were that small supplies were missing or not replenished. No dish sponge, hand soap was not refilled so we filled it with the hotel size bath wash that was supplied.
  The clocks were odd with all the different times and ticking all throughout day and night. For us it did not represent non-significance of time but the wrong times! Oh well. Personal preference.
  Overall it was a nice experience.

  First off, what an incredible view! We loved the uniqueness of the house and it was so nice and cozy and bright inside. The place was spacious yet cozy. We explored the area and it was so nice to find some easy trails just a few feet away. We didn’t try the hot tub so can’t say anything about that. There were just 4 of us and had plenty of room. All the amenities worked well. We appreciated how comfy the couches, chairs and beds were. (Other places we stayed some times have furniture that is worn). We will certainly return! Oh, definitely heed the warning about needing all wheel or 4 wheel drive if you plan to visit during the winter w snow. This place is literally at the top of the mountain.
