It is a super short walk to Timberline Mountain’s chairlifts and lodge, which makes it a very convenient place to warm up, eat and ski! Ski all day and then ski at night too. This is a skier’s dream. Spring, summer, and fall enjoy affordable lodging in the center of Canaan Valley. It is a short trip to the splendor of Blackwater Falls and the scenic golf course at Canaan Valley Resort.

  Hard to beat the location of this condo and that is what you're paying the $$$ for. Great if have to swap child-watching duties and need to be close. Unfortunately, condo is dated and is in need of some upkeep with closet doors coming off the tracks (watch your fingers!), floorboards coming off the walls, the linoleum floor peeling up in the bathroom, and a refrigerator that sounds like it is going to vibrate out of the kitchen. Despite the condition of the condo, the couch and recliner were very comfy (all of the nicer condos we've stayed in have had super uncomfortable seating), the carpet nice and clean, the fireplace was warm and cozy, and there were so many places to hang up gear to dry and store belongings. Our kiddo loved sleeping in a bunkbed and having his own TV to watch cartoons. Spouse took the full bed because the queen bed is very hard. Bring earplugs if sleeping in the middle room as the air intake and furnace is located at the door entrance and is very loud. Plan on bringing warm pajamas if sleeping in the bunkroom - despite the heat set for 70 at night, it never got above 65 in the room with the door open. We liked having the ski locker on the first floor so you don't have to lug your skis up three floors. Would stay here again, but not at the rate we paid for a non-weekend, non-holiday visit.
