  Our family loved this cozy house so much we hope to rent it again next year and continue the tradition of vacationing together. It was so clean and the beds were very comfortable. There were plenty of games for our granddaughter to enjoy. The kitchen was well stocked, everything you’d need. Hot tub was amazing and we also enjoyed making s’mores by the fire pit. Even though it’s near an airstrip it was so peaceful and quiet the entire week. We loved the location. Already looking forward to returning next October!

  Relax Ronnie was a nice vacation home that was fully equipped- griddle, crockpot, pots/pans, cooking utensils, comfortable beds, jacuzzi and walk in shower in master bedroom , hot tub outside, cornhole and a nice flat area to play it in the shade, fire pit, plenty of blankets and pillows. The seating area had 1 sofa that was comfortable and 3 chairs that were not comfortable to sit and watch movies. There was a nice selection of movies. The loft had a comfortable sofa and another bed. I would book Relax Ronnie again.

  There were 6 adults in our group and our main purpose was to have a very relaxing vacation and motorcycle thru the mountains of West Virginia. The home was very comfortable, plenty of room and well stocked. The kitchen has just about anything you would need. We utilized the grill every night and then off to the hot tub. My only issue with the hot tub is I wish it had more jets, but we made the best of it just relaxing and enjoying the company. The beds were very comfortable and I loved the shower in the master bedroom. The neighborhood was quiet and we did meet one gentleman who lived a few houses away and talked to him several times. The location was perfect for us. One couple went to Big Johns one day and said the food wasn't very good. The property manager called while we were on our way out to let us know where to pick up the key (they had to close early.) and communication on their part was exceptional. If I had a question, I had my reply usually the same day. I would definately recommend this property.

  The house sits on a large piece of land surrounded by fields and mountains. It is very well equipped inside and had more than enough room for our group of 6. The loft space above the living room adjacent to the spectacular master bedroom could easily accommodate another 2-4 people. The kitchen is conveniently labeled so you don't have to open every drawer in search of a spatula. The hot tub was a big hit and once we turned off the porch lights we could gaze up at the millions of stars overhead with almost no distraction.
  The kids were not bored as the house was well stocked with all sorts of games. We also appreciated the generous supply of towels so we didn't have to do a load of laundry every time we used the tub. The location of the house is ideal as it is a stone's throw from Whitegrass where we went cross country skiing. It is also adjacent to Canaan Valley state park where there are other ski options as well. We visited in the winter, but it must be a wonderful place to go in the summer as well--seeing as it is situated near so many parks. It is also close to Davis and Thomas so you can have a night out without having to drive far. The only thing lacking was a consistent internet connection. It was a little spotty, but we remedied this by turning the router on and off several times during our stay.
  We would highly recommend the house and the company. Everyone was pleasant and helpful (even though we were calling them on Christmas Day for directions).

  We thoroughly enjoyed staying at the Windwood Ya! All the of bedrooms were comfortable and spacious; the loft is lovely - I did yoga up there in the morning with the sun beaming through. Probably our favorite two things were the hottub and the fireplace. We did a lot of playing games and relaxing. Highly recommend. Great value

  The one detractor in our stay was that we arrived after dark and the directions weren't all that obvious. We got to the right cul de sac but spent several minutes peeking into other ppl's driveways (sorry neighbors!) til we found the windwood. Wonder if y'all could provide just a little more heads up bc the street addresses are mixed up(bounce back and forth bw 18 & 200 & back to 30..)
  Otherwise- MANY thanks for having the hot tub preheated to a lovely temp on arrival. Fireplace was easy and delightful to use. Bedrooms comfortable and kitchen functional.
  We're whitegrass folks and this spot was very convenient. Our thanks!

  Absolutely loved the Windwood, it was cozy but still large enough for 7 people. Donna, the agent, was such a great help in the reservation process! We had a mini problem with the hot tub, (it wasn't hot enough) so one call to the office and they were quick and very helpful and in no time we were able to hop in and enjoy the rest of our stay. Definitely recommend this cabin and Best of Cannan.

  The house is beautiful and fully furnished down to the silverware and towles. The suroundings are lovely but not as private as I would have liked. We really loved the hot tub. We also thought it was cool that there were DVD's and CD's to use. All in all a wonderful getaway! Thanks Best of Canaan!

Please know, we do try to schedule home showings when the homes are unoccupied but unfortunatly that is sometimes not possible. We do call before a showing to ask permission, in the future, if this would happen to you again, just let the agent know you would prefer to not have the house shown during your stay and we will make every effort to accomodate.   I would say that this cottage is a best kept secret. It's perfect for anyone with pastures with horse grazing on it on one side and the wildflowers on the other. Great for walks and exploration with kids. I loved the location close to the ski areas and
  shops. Could not be a better mountain getway. The cottage itself is very well equipped-every bedroom, bathroom and kitchen too.

  Large flat yard was perfect for our 2 year old to ride his bike and hit homeruns! Didn't have to worry about him falling off of the deck. Pool at the resort was awesome although not heated so it was a little cool. Tons of towels so that was great. Beds were not comfortable nor were the pillows - next time will bring our own pillows. Location was awesome!!

  Hey Best of Canaan, We want to thank you folks for your part in our wonderful mountain getaway. We loved our location by the airstrip, great for walks.
